This guy got a second chance today

ESRA sprung him from our shelter here in Baldwin county this morning. He was picked up by animal control as a stray. I did the phone work with the shelter and one of other volunteers picked him up this morning. We are calling him Wellington and he is headed to Mississippi today to his foster home. His face just breaks my heart...He is going to have a wonderful future.

Mr. Wellington after a bath, a vet check, ear cleaning and treatment and a good meal. He's getting his Springer smile back.

I got an update on Wellington today...He has been moved to a foster home in Birmingham and is undergoing heartworm treatment...His foster mom says that he is a delightful little guy with a tail that never stops wagging, is already housebroken and loves to ride in the car.
