    Default Grain Free CN??

Does anybody feed the grain free California Natural? Baron has once again become uninterested in his food. Could be because it's been so hot outside, or maybe he's just sick of it. He's done this before. But I had some samples of CA GF and he seemed to like it. Just wondering if anyone else feeds it. Im a little concerned since P&G bought out Natura, I'll just have to keep real close watch on the ingredients.

Can't help with the CN- But Basja goes through food boredom stages as well, if she has missed 2 meals, I will put a can of tuna in with her food or some cottage cheese, yogurt, soup, ect....but not each time. I don't want her to get used to extra stuff on her food for each meal.

Maxine has not eaten in a day and a half. I chalk it up to heat.

Or the 3 pb. pork roast she ate on Saturday...

Duke can be a picky eater too. He loves his new food (Acana Pacifica) and scarfs that down all the time. I did find that when I added Solid Gold SeaMeal supplement to his old food he would eat it better. And, it's not like I was giving him anything 'special' it was just a multi vitamin/enzyme supplement, but it must have added that extra flavor that his old food needed. Might be worth a try for Baron, since I know he has a sensitive stomach and finding a food he does well on was difficult.

Copper tried California Natural for like a minute and it really didn't agree with him. It is also made by the same company that EVO is made by and I think they just got bought by one of the big manufacturers, I forget who right at this second.

Just for giggles, could you put a little hot water on it a couple of minutes before you serve it? Maybe the increased smell will make it more interesting?

Ya Mel, I usually give it to him with water anyway because he has to have his supplements with his food. He ate just fine today. But he also had rice in it again. I have given him some wet Merrick before and he seemed to like it and he did great with it. I will probably pick up a few cans of wet food next time Im over there. Im really hesitant to change his food. If I can find stuff to add every once in a while that doesnt cause him to have problems, we will go that route.
