He just wears them so well! I especially like his Rod Stewart impersonation.

The other thing I should mention is that Oliver's metabolism did a nose-dive in his early-to-mid-adult life. He eats very little now (he's almost 12, so he is pretty old for a pyr) and easily maintains his healthy weight. But, this began around age 4 and he gained a lot of weight before my vet or I noticed that he had gotten heavy (mostly due to the way he carries his weight in his chest and neck). It's good that you've caught any weight gain early so you can start to adjust his food.
It's funny that you mention that Jackson doesn't mope at the reduced meals. Oliver doesn't seem to care, either. If I reduce Delilah's meal by a single morsel she acts like I've never fed her.

I guess Ive taken this thread off topic, but everyone doesnt seem to mind his photos, here are a few photos from the other day that I particularly like.

Normally I have him ignore people on the trails, but there was this group of kids from a school that specializes in providing a good environment to underprivileged children. Neither of us could resist sitting down and letting everyone say high. He always draws a crowd LOL!

It looks like you all are hiking in my neighborhood! I guess we have very very similar terrain. Jackson looks stunningly gorgeous in all the photos and it's sweet that he was so happy to be surrounded by a gaggle of kids
