    Default spay incontinence

I noticed today when Daisy was standing on the patio a few drops of urine dripping. I had seen this before and just thought maybe she had just finished and there were a few drops on her hair. but I don't think so.
I had her spayed when she was 8 months old. I know that is young for a giant breed, but that was when she ate the first sock and had to have surgery. Never in my wildest dreams did I think 8 months later we would be doing it again.
Anyway, does anyone have any experience with this?

yep! Hera has it pretty badly. She takes proin daily and it keeps it at bay unless we forget a dose.

thanks Lora. I haven't noticed it being real bad, but I am sure as she gets older it may. Her appt is coming up for her annual exam, I'll talk to the vet then. I don't want to start her on meds until I have to. : (

Terry I have heard very good things about parsely being useful in these situations. You might try adding some to her food. I bet she wouldn't mind! The fresh kind works best.

My parent's oldest Swissy Rhythm has incontinence pretty bad. Proin has been controlling it well for her.

Lucky Lu (spayed who know when?) has incontinence. She can typically hold it when awake, but has problems when sleeping. She's on 1/2 a Proin per day, and does very well.
