Those were some terrific pictures Gina! How many did you have to sort through to find them because you truly have a flair for not only taking them, but picking out the most interesting and representative pictures.

I went by age here Jodi...from tiny to less tiny, also trying to represent the ways in which she has made us here smile and laugh, and show who her best friends are, and what and who makes her happy...thanks!
Pictures I take, just always tell me a story...somehow...it's kinda weird but, I have always been weird LOL!

I think it is cool as heck. I figured you took a ton of pictures at one time and then sorted through to create that story. Either that or you only take as many as you post and you are an extremely lucky photographer who manages to catch them at JUST the right time every time!

Happy Birthday RC!!
I especially like the one where Cleo has her arm around RC...very sweet!
I take a ton of pics....I have a very fast cam so like when they are out playing I watch what the flow of the play is, who might start something interesting or do something interesting...and then I shoot, usually in the hundreds. It is VERY much like what I always thought wildlife photog. must be like. A lot of exposure to the creature so they get used to you and act naturally...then a lot of crouching and sitting on the ground to get just the right angle....
Several times in the course of the shoot I look thru the previews and dump a lot of pics...only keeping those that seem different from what I have already or show something dynamic or emotional. Something that shows what and who my dogs "are", individually and together.
Then I come in and dump them on to the puter...and review them with my editing software. That is when their voices and stories typically come to me...when I see the pic bigger, and what the details are...they do talk to me, and that may be crazy but I never claimed I wasn't haha!
But really if I go back thru my old pics...and look at them, I cannot get the same read on them as the day I took them...I have memories and such but the actual dynamic energy and "voices" each picture had get a lot quieter and almost disappear and then I get more technical "oh this pic should have been edited a different way" or "man I should not have cropped that this way".
Gina, odd as a cod!
