I'm sorry to read about Troll's lack of eating. I hope you can find something nice and fragrant to entice him! Has he ever eaten green tripe? Speaking of fragrant....that stuff stinks to high heavens but Oliver loves it and I think it entices him to eat when he is not feeling well. We get it "fresh" from Hare Today or it also comes in cans

Pam, I spoke to Sue yesterday, Troll is home but he is on an IV with fluids because of an infection. He ate a little bit of Evo cookies and she is trying some canned TOTW wetlands I believe, but he has not had a real meal in 10 days. She did say yesterday that he was doing better than he had been, but he is down to almost 150 lbs, which for Troll is to small, and his collar is hanging off of his neck right now.

Keep him and Sue in your thoughts! If I get another update before she stops by, Ill post that too...

Please keep the prayers up for my Bug. We had to take him in this morning to have a feeding tube put in. He's fighting, but just isn't strong enough at the moment so we are gonna help him however we can. I am off to the hospital to go pick him up. This weekend will be rough, if he doesn't perk up a little by Monday.....I'm just not gonna go there yet.

Thank you all for thinking of Troll and asking about him. I will try to keep you updated a little better than I have.

Bug is home...again. I just did his first tube feeding and he seems to be doing okay. My mom (she's an ER nurse) will be coming over tomorrow AM to help me with his IV meds. I feel pretty good about giving them to him, I just want a pro there with me to make sure I do it right the first time. This will be less taxing on him than us having to get him in the car and to the vets twice a day. Please keep him in your thoughts, we have a LONG way to go before things get better.

I got an update from Sue this morning, she is utterly exhausted but she was able to give Troll 3 feedings over night and all of his meds, so I really think the feeding tube is the extra help he needed. Ill try to keep this updated as much as possible.
