    Question Kuranda beds?

I think a few of ya'll have these beds, can I get some feedback on them?

Im looking at one for Lola, since she has incontinence and regular dog beds dont really work for her. She takes Proin everyday, but Im think we are going to have to up her dose to stop the leaking. In the mean time though, I would like my girl to sleep comfortably and my washer could really use a break...

So I was thinking about getting the one for the bedroom that is made for outside that says water will pass right thru it, then putting some sort of peepee pad underneath.

all feedback would be great, other ideas are also welcome...

I don't have them - but have seen them used in the shelter.
The dogs really seem to like them and they are very durable.
They have several of them at the doggy daycare where we are doing our training now and there is always a dog on each of them.

It seems like it would be a good solution to your problem.

We have the cordura one. Love it! Your idea is good for the breathable one- they are easy to spray off- all you'd have to do is prob spray an enzyme on the spot if you had a pee pad underneath.

It sounds like you already decided to order one, but I'll just add that I love ours! I want to order a second set to keep outside.

Morgan had an accident on hers and it was so much easier to clean up. Just take it outside, soap it up, scrub, rinse, and let it dry outside. It's so much easier to keep their beds clean and the smell has been cut down drastically for us from their fabric/foam beds.

I haven't been on the forum in a while, so am coming in late to the discussion. But I have to say that the dogs love the Kurandas. An idea is to buy a waterproof crib pad so that you only have to throw that in the wash and it will help keep the smell down and the constant rinsing off of the bed. You could put elastic on the corners and "fasten" it like the sheepskin covers they sell for the beds. Just an idea....
