We had a trainer over today and she asked if Delilah ate fast and I told her that she ate pretty fast still and she recommended that we use one of those metal bowls that, when turned upside down, would have a moat around the edge. She recommended feeding in that moat to keep the meals slow. I'm not sure I agree with this recommendation, but I thought I'd pass it along in case it sounded like it may help you all.

A good romp at the dog park, or some laps in the pool after a ball, and he's fine. He loves tennis balls, so even just sitting in a chair and throwing the ball waiting for him to bring it back and he's happy. I hate the human race!!

I guess they did no research before they brought him home..
When I am doing phone interviews I talk to people about the Springer energy potential...Of course, I ended up with a couch potato Springer...

He really is quite handsome. I'm sure he'll get adopted quickly.

A couch potato Springer? That would actually be fine with me, as those that know Cleo and Heidi can attest to, I'm much more fond of big, hulking lazy dogs. We took all the kids up to Brookfield, Wisconsin today for wag fest. They had two lure courses, I thought both Huntley and Scooter were going to rip Tom's arm out of his socket. Huntley was screaming like someone was trying to kill him every time he saw the lure go by. Yep, couch potato dogs are much more my speed!

Sierra went to a retired middle age couple who previously had Springers. Tom has spoken to the woman of the couple a few times and she loves her, she is now called Sarah, they didn't like Sierra.
