    Cool Adventures in dog walking

Well, the other day, as I mentioned, Bryn saw himself in a mirrored wall and barked, growled and ran up to himself to sniff the image of himself. Regardless of the fact the his image had no dog scent (unless all the other dogs in the neighborhood are dopes too and do the same thing) he then proceeded to run the fence line with himself.

Today, we got told what for, at the fence line, by a Yorkie and a Dachshund (sp) TWICE. Bryn was all up for it. Big eefing woo. You're squaring off with a Yorkie and a Dachsund.

Your tail may be up but I bet Sully isn't fooled by mirrors and microscopic dogs. Who are BEHIND a fence. Do you think maybe he has some cognitive delay issues?

Truman will bark his fool head off when he sees a dog on TV. He hasn't done the mirror thing yet but I sure in time it will happen - the big goof!!

I agree with Pam....Oliver would defend our yard from any creature and would use his loudest bark to ward off any teeny dog that he saw walking by our house. Oliver DID NOT distinguish between inside or outside of our fence. If he could see it, it got told off.

I always thought Tinker was the "speshul" one, but Rufus changed my mind about that yesterday. He walked up to the mirror, kinda cocked his head, and then started posing...and licking his reflection. He is a goober.

If Saphera sees herself in the mirror (which isn't always LOL) she pounces toward it in play. We tease her a lot and tell her it's a good thing she's such a love b/c she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.

Delilah likes to look at herself in the mirror, too. She also looks at the mirror at me, so I think she 'gets it' as far as the reflections go. Oliver never seemed to acknowledge himself in the mirror at all. My Saint Daisy used to pose her head off and look at herself for long periods of time. She loved to look at herself LOL

heheheeh. well at least he was barking at a dog. Daisy is known to protect from the stray walmart bag blowing around. I mean full out hair up, barking like an idiot. She really isn't the brightest dog I have ever had, but I love her! (and I will never ever be attacked by a walmart bag!)

I've also found out that Bryn is a babe magnet. As long as the babe is 6 years old or younger. Bree however looks at them with wonder like, "what are you little tea-cup human?" (I walk them one at a time)

Oh, oh, and this bad ass looking guy with a goatee in a truck called out to Bryn, "Hi fluffy dog!"
    oh brother
