Well Lola's leg is still in a lying down position as my lazy dogs are not even out of bed yet today. They went to bed with their daddy around 4 am, so I doubt they will be up anytime soon. Yesterday was not a good day in the doberdog house! Max puked up what looks like animal poop 3 times then bile twice and didnt want to eat, poor guy. Lola, Im sure just tweaked her leg running the night before, Im noticing a pattern with her, around the first of every year she seems to sprain a leg. Always alternating of course...sigh. Im letting both of them rest today, I hope Max's tummy is feeling better. I had some stuff to give him for the belly ache last night but when I read the ingredients it had aspartame in it so we didnt give it too him. He settled and I think once he got all the crap(literally) out of his gut he seemed better.

I love that pic of Abby!

Even though it's raining, gonna take zen to the dog park today. If nothing else, i'm hoping other dogs will be there so I can work on her pulling and vocalizing when excited. Wish me luck!

I am sick with a cold. Abby is now EXTREMELY interested in trying to clean my nose for me. And god help me if I sneeze - I literally have to fight her off or she tries to stick her tongue up there.

Loza went for a test night at a doggy sitter for when I have to do local military drill and has not stopped sleeping since she came home at 4. They said she went to bed early last night and their 3 y/o asked if she could come back. I might have to borrow the neighbor kids if thats what it takes to wear her out at home.

Delilah does this really weird thing where she 'makes the bed' and just stomps with one or both of her front feet when she is super tired/preparing for bed. It's like a throw-back to arranging a bed in a den, but the beds she is stomping on do not really change shape much, so she just looks weird as she stomps the couch or her big bed at night. She is so silly. As soon as she does her stomping dance, she passes out asleep. LOL.

Kennedy is a HUGE "let me sniff your face and everything on it" kind of dog too! I am thankfully for the lack of licking.

Lola is also a big "let me have your breath" dog. She doesnt lick but if she can be in your face, she is happy.

Ozzy does not like to go in your face unless you have food. But he really loves to eat the tissues after you've used them.

    LOL, Ozzy cracks me up.

Delilah is a licker, but doesn't care if I've just eaten or not. If I am done eating, she is usually sulking b/c she either forgot the piece that I already gave her, or she really did not get even a small piece. This occurs even 30 seconds after she has finished her own meal. She has a bad short-term memory related to the food she just ate. She is a huge fan of RADISHES. I cut them up and eat them daily and she waits while I am cutting them. Radish slices actually taught her how to catch food in her mouth.
Miltie pretends to like radishes as we have FINALLY taught him to come to the kitchen to see if he can scavenge something. He is very polite and waits near the door of the kitchen. We are working on making him more brazen about begging. [just kidding].

Send Cash to play with Truffle - then we could both get a break!

I think you should send Truffle to play with Cash, then you'd have 2 and I'd have 2 and we'd still both get a break.

Delilah caught me packing my carry-on bag and now she's moping.
I wish I did not travel for work -- tomorrow I am just gone 5:30 AM -- 10:30 PM (hopefully, my flights are not delayed and I get stuck in the frigid upper mid-west!). Just a long day.

Ozzy just came up to me and asked me to get the laser pointer out for a game. He came pretty close to using words.
