    Default Dyson Groom Tool

I got an email today about the Dyson Groom Tool that is just being released. Costs $69.99 on their site and is not available in stores yet. The video is with a golden... I'd like to see a saint or pyr in that video, then i'd be sold for sure. But it looks interesting! The very end is what got my attention - the Groom Suck Gone! Anyone have one yet?

I will email and ask then to try it on a pyr! :-)

Would you really be a able to get near your dog with something attached to a vacuum? I don't think either of mine would go for it. Cool if it works though.

I have the same worry, Pam... i think either of my dogs would be traumatized by the vacuum touching them. The Dremel is bad enough.... LOL... but it looks like a cool attachment though.

I can all of them but Rufus. I sucked up his tail a few years ago and now he goes in full panic mode as soon as I pull it out of the closet.

No I didn't but Ive recently started thinking about it again. Do they sell it in the stores yet? Im more apt to go buy one than order it on line... Im weird like that. I just cant seem to embrace the online shopping thing for some reason. I have to be honest, and Im very embarrassed to admit, one of the major factors for NOT getting it yet was that the handle is sooo unwieldy and I didnt realize I could remove it until just this minute... i watched the link MEZ posted and it didn't have the handle on it. I was like wow.. we must have a different type of Dyson. So I went and looked at it and it has a button to remove the handle.... genius! I actually may give it a go now.

Ive been trying to work with Rufus and the vacuum lately and hes getting braver.

Saphera would have a panic attack if I even entertained the idea of getting this. Looks great though...in theory.

Sleeping while being vacuumed, I'm impressed. I don't think my Swissies would go for it, but I sure wish they would! Especially Duke, his shedding is out of control!

I finally broke down and got one. I was at Wagfest yesterday and Dyson had a booth there with a groom tool to demo. I tried it out on Rufus and he actually tolerated it outside. I have been working on desensitizing him to the vacuum in hopes that the groom tool would work. But I digress... The rep told me they now sell them in the stores at Sears and Bed Bath & Beyond (can you say 20% coupon!). I went and picked one up this afternoon at Bed Bath & Beyond and tried it out. It works great. It pulls the dander right off the dog. Rufus would tolerate it in spurts but eventually I was able to do all of him. Brutus laid across my lap while I did him. I even pulled a ton of hair off Zeus - I swear he sheds as much as the saints.

TWO THUMBS UP!!! Im glad I took the plunge!

Wow - i am not sure how long it would take for my two to get used to the vacuum noise that close to them. They REALLY don't like it at all! I am really impressed more with how chill Brutus was with the whole thing.

Interesting background porn music there Lora (LOL). Now to get my dogs to sit there as peacefully as yours. I think drugs may have to be involved.
