She is 21 months we were first told 18 months from the guy we got her from. For someone who has had 3 Akita knew nothing about her or the breed!!! We first just took her to save her from the pound becausewe were told she was not good with kids. But from what we have seen she is awesome with r 10month old.at first I did not even let close to Victoria but after a day I desire to see how she was with her on my lap all she was all kisses!!

Maybe there's a difference since Victoria isn't running around? I know Abby has a definite fear of certain ages, and I think part of that is based on size and also how fast they move.

Very possible! She has been around a 4 year and is fine with him! I think her biggest issue was being left for days with no one come to interact with her! Her owner moved in with his girlfriend months ago and she has been at his place by her self! But as with ANY dog I will never leave her alone with them!
