Precise Holistic Giant Puppy Food

Just had a minor heart attack. The breeder decided to try "Precise Holistic Giant puppy food" for this litter. Two weeks ago, i special ordered it at my local Farm and Feed. They are usually pretty good about special orders and don't even charge extra. Well apparently theres a back order and they couldn't get it in.. but they forgot to call me. I called them today asking about where it is and got the news. ACK! So i've been on the phone with every Pet Express and Petco i can find trying to find this food... no body carries it! Petco was so bad... had me on the phone on hold for 20 minutes listening to bad pop music.

Finally, i found a specialty dog shop in Los Gatos that has ONE BAG. They are going to put on hold for me, thank goodness.

Geez! Is Precise Holistic such a nebulous dog brand? I know the giant formula was helped developed by the Great Dane lady so maybe it hasn't caught on in the west yet?

Pet People? They're pretty awesome, but pricey. Have you tried here: http://www.westcoastpetsupply.com/1/dog-food/ they might order for you and are in Aptos. If you can't get into Pet People in time, let me know, I live about 10 min from there and could go grab it for you.

I know Kim ALDOGMOM buys her stuff online, there's a thread somewhere about it....maybe they carry it? I know nothing about the food though, sorry.

Yeah, pet people. It's in los gatos.. so it's a prerequisite to be pricey.
No worries. i took all of next week off so I'm just going pop over there after I drop the kids off at school on monday.

If i'm going to have to order it, i'm going to try to do it thru my local farm and feed. Usually they are awesome and i like to give them the business. But if that doesn't work, i will try petflow.com (thanks mez!)

Hope you like the Precise Holistic Line. I've been very pleased with it (adult) for Cody. The bag I have now was made the end of April... it's printed on the bag. The bags also have zip lock openings ( even the 30 lb bag) and a handle on the side which really helps when carrying it from the car. Of course most importantly, I really like the formulation....... it's one of few foods to include tumeric and selinium yeast instead of the selinium most foods have which has become controversial.
