    Default Hilary Lamon Collars?

    Anyone heard of them?

They advertised in a local thing, so I went to look at their site. They are cute collars, so I looked at the price.

Why the heck would I pay $150 for one of these collars???? It's crazy!

WOW. That is crazy...never heard of Hilary Lamon.
I did a quick search and see that she set up all her social media accounts this year (FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, and her patent is also for January of this year). So, I guess she's expecting to be quite popular!

I'm not into her collars from what I see and her prices make my migraine worse -- but if she can sell for those prices..more power to her.

I also wanted to point out that she's an attorney and somehow got a patent on things that I see commonly in the marketplace (but I am guessing these will have her name on them):
IC 018. Clothing for domestic pets; collars for pets; collars for pets bearing medical information; electronic pet collars; garments for pets; pet accessories, namely, canvas, vinyl and leather pouches for holding disposable bags to place pet waste in; pet accessories, namely, specially designed canvas, vinyl or leather bags attached to animal leashes for holding small items such as keys, credit cards, money or disposable bags for disposing of pet waste; pet clothing; pet collar accessories, namely, bells, silencers, safety lights and blinkers, pendants and charms; pet collar accessories, namely, bows and charms; pet collar accessories, namely, charms; pet hair ornaments; pet products in the nature of a restraining device, namely, tie-out stakes and tie-out chains; pet products, namely, pet restraining devices consisting of leashes, collars, harnesses, restraining straps, and leashes with locking devices; pet restraining devices consisting of harnesses and/or restraining straps, for use in pet grooming or veterinary care; pet restraining devices consisting of collars, harnesses and leashes for use in grooming or veterinary care.; pet tags specially adapted for attaching to pet leashes or collars

So the collars are kinda ugly - and they have a lot of stitching, fancy stitching. I don't see ANYTHING that I would even buy, let alone for those prices!!! Crazy! And the bowls and treat jars? I could have one custom made from my local potter for about 30 - with my colors AND made by the same person who made all of my dishes. Hand made pottery IS expensive, but that is WAY high - especially since they don't have anything difficult or crazy going on with either the design or the glaze.

Not that I would - the girls would just break a pottery bowl. We need sturdy metal bowls around here

I wonder who is buying her stuff?

    That's what I thought - wouldn't spend $15 on them let alone $150.

huh. I've got an engraving tool- but I wouldn't think that 150$ would be a fair price to use it on a buckle.

I know everything is relative and to some people $150.00 is like $.15 to me. BUT....at the end of the day, it's just a simple dog collar.
