Default Morgan and Fromm Gold Adult.

I know a few people serve Fromm. Have you seen it be too rich for a young dog. Morgan has been having issues with squirts and her was clear at puppy check of everything. He came on Pro Plan and we switched because of the high protein level. The vet agreed with the switch. Wondering if I should switch him to another Fromm.

I know we have only had him for a short time. We gave him chix and rice for a few days and her hardened up. we then slowly added kibble back and he is soft again.

Should we add pumpkin or something else.

The only other kibble I have here right now is a grain free one so that won't work. Mught have to make a trip down the the feed store in the next town.

    Any thoughts and ideas.

My mother was feeding one of the Fromms for her Papillon puppy. During routine bloodwood prior to his surgery to neuter, his kidneys were horrible and were the kidneys of a 12 year old dog. The only thing my mother can figure is that it was from the Fromm because of the high protein, although she has no proof. He spent a few months on Science Diet K/D and they retested and he was fine.

We have never fed the gold line. We switch between the whitefish and pork 4*, but we've only been able to do the pork since we made the digestive enzymes a staple in Ozzy's diet. We had Ozzy on them as a puppy because the breeder did. We went off them for a while, but decided earlier this year that we'd always supplement Ozzy because he never had good poop without them.

Have you thought about half and half? (half fromm, half pro-plan?)

My breeder wanted to try Precise Holistic but it was just too rich for all the pups. So she switched to half Precise Holistic and half Eukanuba giant puppy. (her tried and true). Maybe something like that could work?

we used Fromm Gold and now Fromm Gold senior and have no problems but our dogs are adults... JJ had blood work before her surgery in March and her kidney profile was normal....
