He's gorgeous. He reminds me of Frodo. I hate people! It just never ends.
What's even worse - he's from the local "breeder" one of the local veterinarians wants us to try and help him shut her down. She sold a four week old puppy to someone who died from parvo.
ESRA at one point - offered to spay all of her female dogs for her and she declined. This vet has offered to spay and neuter all of her dogs at no cost and she won't do that either.
She surrendered 26 dogs at one time to ESRA about three years ago.
She's obviously back at it again.
I suspect the one we're getting from the Mobile shelter today is from the "breeder" on the other side of the bay that sells her puppies at the flea market.
Very frustrating.

That is so frustrating and it is such a vicious cycle with these "breeders". He is a beautiful boy and I pray he will now find his forever loving home.
He looks just like a liver and white Birdie.
I have always suspected this is the breeder where Birdie came from before she ended up in the shelter...

He's very handsome, glad his future is getting brighter. Any idea on his age?
He's very handsome! ESRA does amazing work. It must be very frustrating to see the revolving door of dogs that are sold by those horrible breeders and then make their way into the pound, shelters, and then to ESRA...![]()
Well, he is gorgeous and is in great hands now. I just hope someone can convince the stupid lady to stop.

Oh what a handsome boy!!
He's about 18 months old. He'll go to boot camp and get neutered.
We actually have a volunteer over in Mississippi that loves getting these adult dogs that have had no attention or training. We refer to it the "Amos Arnold Academy". LOL.
He does a really great job with these dogs and invests a lot of time in them.
Fisher is very handsome. I'm sure he'll be adopted soon - assuming he has no Springer "quirks". LOL.
If he does we'll work on them.

He really is a lucky boy - hope he does well in "school" and is on his way to that forever home soon.
One of our dearest friends has a springer from a backyard breeder that was purchased through a pet shop. He has hip dysplasia.. poor thing. She took him on and besides some separation anxiety, he is one of the best kid dogs i've ever seen. Totally rock solid in temperament. Hopefully with the right Love, Fischer can be the same!
Wow he is a very nice looking dog.
