    Default Sentinel - Novartis

I just got home from the vet with Bogey. He had his annual physical today - poor guy lost seven pounds since last year and the vet wants him to take off three more pounds. I was like "I can feel his ribs!!!"....This doc likes them lean...

Anyway, I was out of heartworm preventative and told him I'd heard about the Sentinel issues and that I wanted to buy two boxes. Well, they didn't have any...They have four clinics and they found me two boxes at another clinic (which I promptly drove there and got). He said they don't know when the issue will be resolved but the reps solution is for them to ration it - only selling one box at a time. Obviously, they made an exception for me.

If you use the product - don't wait until you are out. If you can get it you might want to buy another box.

In other news, he did tell me they are now able to get immeticide on a case by case basis.

Good to know. Thanks, Kim! Poor Bogey, the last 3lbs are always the hardest to shed

Poor guy is going to have to go back on the green beans. LOL.

He also has a bunch of acne. Dr. Bill was squeezing zits everywhere.
Oh and they had to measure the fatty tumor on his penis.

I have my personal physical this afternoon. I can't WAIT to see what I have to go through.

So many of those things seem so wrong. Poor guy.

He was very patient through every thing - well, except the poop check. He didn't like that at all.
The good news is he has no parasites, he's heartworm negative and in good shape over all. All of his vital organs are functioning well..

Now, if my doctor had only told me to lose three pounds all would have been peachy!

I'm guessing you won't have a fatty tumor in the same place as Bogey, if it all.

Glad to hear he's doing well!
