When do you tipically start your dogs. We would likely use cosoquine as Lowe is on it. Any other great ones to use. Oh and he is on Fromm Large Breed Adult.

I have fairly young dogs, but Delilah has major hip issues, so I have always given her joint supplements. Morgan doesn't have any joint issues, right? From what I've read, most people don't think you can prevent joint issues by giving supplements, but I like to have gluc/chond, MSM, and high quality fish oil in their diets even when they do not have symptoms. It's just generally good for their joints. But, I think supplementing a young dog is just based on your own feeling on the topic since I don't think most vets would even say it's 'necessary' or anything.
I feed raw, so it's a little different, but I give our dogs natural gluc/chond from things like chicken feet and I also give HylaSport, MSM, and fish oil. I have had better luck with HylaSport than with the Cosequine and Dausequine (saw better results when I used HylaSport with my older dogs than when I used [even double-doses of] Cosequine/Dausaquine or Cosamin --the human-grade one by the same company).
