What are the chances of this happening????
I got an e-mail this morning from ESRA asking if I would be available to do a home visit in Fairhope. I was like "yippee!" because I NEVER get to do a home visit in Fairhope.
I looked at the application and these people live in my subdivision.
I don't know them but I just looked up the directions and my estimated drive time is 2 minutes!

I told them when I called I lived in the neighborhood. Trust me, I have no problem telling someone they can't have a dog.
I have to tell you that I LOVED it when my GPS said "approximate drive time 2 minutes..." LOL. That never happens.
I took Birdie and the husband played with her the entire time. He went and got her some toys from their previous dog, took her for a walk...LOL..
Very nice people. It will be a lucky ESRA dog that ends up in their home.
Of course, she had to take a giant poop in their front yard before we went in. I picked it up in a poop bag and put it by a flower pot on the front porch. When they opened the door I said "beware of people going door to door with poop in their hands."...
They gave her this when she left. She carried it out the door, into the car and into the house.
