    Default Potty Training.

As Morgan gets more access to the house he is having some accidents. We have finally figured out his notification at night. I thought it was him just checking in or saying hi at night but it appears its his I need to go out.

    Advice on the other aspect.

He has not had any accidents in the area he has been in upto now.

Every time a new area was opened up, we would have frequent outside breaks until she seemed uninterested (relaxed) in her surroundings. Then it was just watching for her signals. what's Morgan's signal?

He goes to the door or barks short and loud.

Now I am almost thinking he is marking without lifting. I just went downstairs to ask my mom something, this is the main area he has slept in N. Wisconsin since we got him but in a crate. I am down there, he comes down and stands right next to me a squirts on the floor. No noise no sound and not a full release. Just a squirt. Little shit. What now?

Reggie feels the need to mark in our basement. I have no idea why. And I have no suggestions because our solution is to only let Reg down there when we are monitoring him, so he wont do it.

When I potty train and expand the area that the dog is allowed in, I assume that there is going to be regression in the new area and I just take the dog out really often and reward heavily for potty outside, like I did when first training.

sure it's not submissive urination? That can be from excitement too, not just submissiveness. I'd also have him looked at to rule out bladder issues.

Oh, I did not see your third post, Jennie. Those little squirts are what Milton did when he was nervous/scared and that was totally submissive urination for Milton. Maybe Morgan is really uneasy about the change.
