Chicago Area People - Pet First Aid Course!

If any Chicago area people are interested, a lady I've discussed pet first aid courses with in the past is having one on Saturday, March 6th from 10am - 2pm and has a few seats open. Cost is $75pp and includes certification in pet first aid and CPR, a booklet and a certificate. You must preregister.

I have not personally attended this course before, so I can not give it my own glowing recommendation, but I do intend to take one of their classes in the future.

Last time I spoke with her about it, there were practice dummies. Otherwise, I'll lend you Beowulf.

The vision of practicing mouth-to-mouth with Java makes me giggle. Actually, after a meal with tripe it would probably make me heave.

Tripe is banned from our house so I have yet to feed it to my dogs. I will though, when Adam is off working. What he doesn't know...
