    Question Seat covers

I have a question regarding seat covers for our furry friends. We just bought a new car and don't want it immediately covered with fur and mud. Does anyone have any ideas of where to purchase a good one? Are the hammock types good?

I've seen a bunch of them. I don't like the one I have. It's basically a canvas cover that doesn't fit my seats too well when it's on. A friend has the hammock one (and a larger SUV) and it fits quite well. I've seen many sites with the same products, so I would purchase wherever is cheapest, assuming they are otherwise the same.

I got a hammock-type one from Drs. Foster and Smith. I like it pretty well. Hair and drool still get on the tops of the seats, mostly because Tek is so huge, but it should work better for a smaller dog.

I have a CRV and I use a twin sheet. It is pleanty big to cover the top and bottom of the seats, its cheap, like 5 bucks at walmart. super easy to put on and take off and clean!!!

I need to get something too.... Something that will cover the back seats but is easy to remove and install since we use the back seats occasionally for my son to sit in when he isnt driving himself.

Thanks for the info. We ended up buying one from Costco of all places. It was on sale for 29.95 and is made from canvas. It hooks over the front and back seat headrests and has a slit to allow either a child seat or a dog harness to be attached. It is easily removed. Kia didn't seem to mind it. The brand name is Kurgo and we also bought a car harness from them a while ago. Excellent, sturdy product.
