Make me cry.

Got home today to find 3 donation notifications in the mail. Two are to the National Canine Cancer Foundation in Gryffin's name (thank you guys-you know who you are!). The other was completely unexpected. It was to the U of Illinois Vet school Companion Animal Memorial Fund, and was made in Gryffin's name by the emergency vet who cared for Gryffin.

They were happy tears, though.

This isn't even our normal vet. It's the e-vet. They have a normal practice there, too, and I've been looking into what they offer. I'm going to get a price list for standard services, and I think we will be switching over there in the next several months. Definitely for the next addition...

I hope it doesnt either, but we are always actutely aware of the average berner lifespan and realize that with the exception of Tucker, we are approaching that window soon.

Sounds like you have found a real gem in the e-vet though!!! I hope it works out for you, its always great to find a vet clinic that you are comfortable with!
