    Default Silly things dogs do

So I was sitting here thinking about Argus and the silly things he does.

It used to be when I go to bed, he would tuck me in. Hed stay in bed until I fell asleep and then leave. Now... he tucks me in and brings me a zillion toys and stuffs them in my face and sleeps with me all night. Often, he FILLS my bed with toys.. and never the clean, freshly washed toys, its always the nasty smelly ones. Honey sleeps next to the bed so I cant get up with out her knowing and I almost kill myself or her every morning.

Honey is a whole nother story... personality PLUS. When you meet Honey is she an attention WHORE. If you do not pet her and fall over her she will wooooo you to death. She also has this thing where she flips over and gives you her belly to rub.... then she'll peak out of the corner of her eye and see if your falling for it and its so f-ing cute you have no choice. I still can't believe no one wants to adopt her. It kills me.

    What do your dogs do?

Oh, geez... Our house if full of silly stuff, but I probably can only think of a few things.

Indy, being a Swissy, is a goof ball. For the longest time, our downstairs bathroom and kitchen plus the upstairs bathroom all had the same tile. She would go on everything downstairs, but the upstairs was the devil. She's started going in there again, but she periodically starts whining and crying because she gets stuck on the rug.

Gryffin used to go in the upstairs washroom and had to rub his head in the towels. Every time. I have no idea why.

We have all kinds of funny stuff too. Huntley, who we affectionately call "nose boy" will stick his nose under my arm while I'm on the computer or reading and literally throw his head back lifting my arm so I will pet him. He will not give up until I do and if I stop, he does it again. I've gotten pretty good at typing with one hand while petting him with the other. We also play a game every night, the "where's Cleo" game. Tom started doing this, I don't know why, but they all go outside, then come in, Cleo stands behind Tom who says where's Cleo, does anybody know where Cleo is? Huntley and Heidi get all excited, dancing around and then Cleo starts to woowoo and Tom makes a big deal of oh there she is. I do not know how they know how to tell time, but they truly ask for this game every night around 8pm. Heidi will come out of the bedroom where she has been sleeping soundly right around that time and start her butt wiggle and Cleo will tell you it's time for the game. It sounds retarded but it just amazes me how they know.

Baron is so silly sometimes. I get a good laugh at him at least once a day. His big thing is if Im sitting on the couch with a blanket he sticks his head underneath the blanket and will raise his head up over and over again until his head is out, then he repeats it.
Another thing he does, is if he is in a playful mood and he comes over for me to rub his belly he will flail his legs in the air trying to get my arms and hands. He will also lay on his side and 'swim'. We have a rug that he will kick his legs under over and over again if he is laying on his side. Hes a weirdo!

The silliest thing Tek does, well the most recent anyway, is that he is terrified of the vertical blinds. Seriously, terrified of them.

We got their new Kuranda beds in over the weekend and put them next to each other in front of the blinds. Poor Tek was super hestitant to get on it because it was up against the blinds. We finally got him to sit, and he starts wagging his tail ... which hits the blinds and he runs off the bed in sheer terror. It was so funny. We moved his bed so it's against the wall now.

Morgan dances for her breakfast. Seriously, dances around. It's funny ... but also sometimes annoying at 5am LOL.

LOL the silly things Charlie does... bedtime stares. He sleeps on his bed on the floor next to my side of the bed.

I go to bed, and there he is... wake up at 2am, there he is... wake up at 4am... there he is... wake up in the morning, there he is...

    Just staring...

it was really creepy at first, now I just laugh at him, kiss his nose and go back to sleep

Silly? Maybe crazy...Copper talks to us. Man, if he could us words. He also needs help scratching his nose so he'll come up and paw at it standing by you until you scratch it for him.

I think there are many more crazy things 'cause he's a bit OCD...

    I have many stories.
Hottie, when I worked at night, prior to this marriage, I would leave for work. During the night, without a sound, Hottie would go into my daughters room, and grab one of the stuffed toys from another day bed in the room, take one down 2 levels flight of stairs, and drop the toy at the front door.
Then go back up stairs, and get another one.. Never woke my daughter up.
I would walk in the door early am, only to find all the stuffed toys at the front door. Not disturbed but moved.
