Red face Cat's out of the bag

Yes, we are bringing home a puppy.

We will be bringing this blue-eyed boy home in less than 3 weeks. His name is Ozzy.

Some people knew, some people didn't. I've been feeling like I needed to keep it somewhat quiet for some reason, and I think that was a good choice. But I think that things are in place now, and I can't really keep it quiet anymore.

We are very excited to have a new Swissy! It's been so quiet in our house (except for February with all the extra dogs) since we lost Gryffin. Dan and I are both hoping he will help fill the empty spot that Gryffin left. He's got big paws to fill, and we're not expecting him to be Gryffin...but we're very excited to have the opportunity to have him as part of our family.

And I'm not a puppy person.
    I love his name..

Congratulations! He's a lucky little guy.

How cute is he?! Oh. Wait. I need to rephrase that. He is so cute. I was on another forum and I wrote "How cute are they?" in response to a photo. And the person who posted it replied "Cute. But I think that you meant you type how cute they are."

I can't wait to meet him! I'm gonna get a Swissy puppy fix!!!!

And Beowulf will teach him how.

Did you guys name him Ozzy or is that the one he is coming with? Are both his eyes blue? One looks brown to me but wasn't sure if it was just a camera fluke thing.

Be glad his name is short. When he whizzle walks it across your living room it'll be over in four letters!

Yeah, I'm sure Beowulf will try, but Swissy boys are really good at writing their names all over your house.

The name Ozzy is the one we picked. I don't like the registered name, so I won't tell you. Only one eye is blue. They were very surprised when he opened his peepers because Swissies with blue eyes (or eye) generally have a lot more white on their faces.

Dare I ask what is going on (or what went on) with the breeder? You eluded to something in an earlier post, but that was about it. It kept me guessing.

Here's another pic of the little guy, showing off the Right Eye of Doom (tm).

I'm going to have to train him to raise his right eyebrow and stare in a generally condescending manner....
