Unhappy Osteo in a friends dog

We met a really nice couple with two gorgeous danes while walking around with Luke of 2dogs2000miles. Their male dane was battling osteo and had had his leg amputated due to a fraxture but was doing pretty well. He had a recurrence over winter and went through another round of chemo and rad and is doing well...then as horrible as all of this is a few days ago their beautiful girl dane was dx'd with osteo. It sounds like the one leg might be really nasty. They are a really nice couple and I just hate that this happened to them again...of course I wouldn't want it to happen to anyone.

We are going to meet up with Will at the dog festival on Sat as they man the booth for BoneCancerDogs.

That is sad. Please tell them we're thinking good thoughts for them.

How awful, my heart goes out to the family. As others said, let's hope the girl dane responds as well as her 'brother'.

More healing thoughts going out to them. I can't even imagine having to go through that.

Good to hear they are having luck with the boys treatment. Hope they have as many days ahead as possible with their fuzzy ones. Been there and do not want to go back there.

I heard from Will this afternoon and they had to let their Dane Dozer go today. How sad and ironic that he went today as Luke ends his walk. I will light a candle for you sweet boy.
