Daisy was not crazy about most treats, but our holistic vet made treats that Daisy found delicious.

She used ground meat (turkey, chicken, or beef), garlic powder, and maybe some egg and mixed it up and baked it and then put it in the freezer (that changed the texture and it became chewy) and she cut them in little squares.

Delilah loves hotdogs.
Oliver loves anything with peanut butter (Old Mother Hubbard makes little peanut butter training treats that Oliver likes a lot).

OH, Delilah just had surgery and I had to give her pain meds a lot and we found that liverwurst was a god-send. She LOVES it and so does Oliver. If you put it in a plastic bag and just put a little on your finger, it may keep Maxine's attention when you need it.
Dehydrated liver also works for Oliver when he needs to be distracted.
