    Thumbs up pyrs being pyrs

In the past year I have linked in with some really great pyr people including several in Europe. One sent me this link for a video that was made in France. They have been having problems the last couple of years with tourists being bitten by pyrs while hiking in the pyrenees mountains. This was to help educate hikers on the pyrs and their job.

I can't understand all of it. My French is pretty rusty and Verne filled in some of the gaps for me. I just love watching pyrs doing what pyrs should be doing. Watch how happy they are to go to work when the sheep are let out of the barn. It makes me want to go with them.

When they barked mine went on guard and barked too.

I probably would have enjoyed it more if I spoke French.

I love watching a dog do what it was originally bred to do..
    Thanks for sharing that.

That was so cool to see. So neat to watch them do what they are meant to. Love the Border Collies in there too.

Wonderful video to watch. While my french is nile, at least the parts to help carry the reported video transitioned so I could understand it more.
I love watching dogs do what they were bred to do. Marvelous video!

Very great video!!! I love watching them work, they just looked so happy and to see the one curled up asleep with the sheep in the morning, it shows how they really love their flock. Now if only I spoke french i could have understood what they said LOL
