Too Much Raw Bone?

Saturday afternoon my two each got a raw bone and poops had been fabulous until last night when at 3 am i awoke to that smell. I got out of bed to find liquid poo blobs from my kitchen to my back door. The culprit was Ruger and so far Duke is still doing fine.

Do you guys think it's just a coincidence or do you think it's because of the raw bone she had Saturday afternoon? They do get them about once a month, but maybe I let her chew it too long and/or it was too rich?

Was there more marrow in it than the ones you normally give them? I know Kendra says she scoops some of the marrow out before she gives it to Basja to avoid that issue.

I had the same thing the other night.... I gave mine big marrow bones and liquid stank came out of a couple of them. bleh.... feel for you big time!

Come to think of it, there was a little more marrow on hers than normal and she really went to town on her bone. Guess that must be the culprit. The whole liquid poo really threw me though because Sunday her poops were nice and firm - like how they usually are after she chews a raw bone and then out of nowhere came her explosion. Poor girl. I'll have to take Kendra's advice and scoop out some of the marrow before giving them their bones.
