Merrick Before Grain

Has anybody fed this? The people I get my Evo from can get this food...They can't seem to get any of the other premium foods I would be interested in trying...Fromm, Orijen, Acana..

I can always default back to TOTW...We are finishing up the last of the Evo this month.

Just curious if anyone has used it..
I can get Wellness too.

I did but mine didn't like it and it gave Jas diarrhea. I was buying the canned to mix into the kibble but don't do that any more either. I think Courtney was using it some.

I use it now for Baron. He does very well on it. He loves it and he has the best poops he's has ever had on it. I feed him the buffalo variety. He has been on it for about 6mo and we haven't had any issues with it!

that was our other choice next to EVO when we were switching from TOTW. EVO was just easier for us to get since they're headquartered down the street, or were.

I never used Merrick, but I have heard that before grain is a very good food and know people who have used it with success. I loved how Greta looked on Wellness, and she loved it. We took her off because she seemed to be worse with her allergies while on it, but now I'm pretty sure it was not the food but just the grass/tree/pollen allergy and not the food, but our holistic vet did think that flax might be something she was allergic to and it is in wellness. She said she had a very small number of dogs who were allergic to flax and she was pretty confident Greta might have a problem with it. She never looked better thought than when she was on wellness, I got her the fish one and she LOVED it. Both of my cats are on wellness canned food and look amazing, they don't shed very much and have magnificent coats. Greta is now on Orijen because it costs the same as what EVO costs anyway so I feel like I might as well give her that. And she loves the Orijen. Good luck on your switch, whichever one you decide to go with.
